POLICY FOR THE APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCTION CONTROL SYSTEM (PCS)

The Company is committed to ensuring that its products and services, with particular reference to equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX), consistently meet customer requirements, applicable regulations, and relevant international standards.

This Policy represents Management’s commitment to the continuous improvement of the Production Control System (PCS) and to full compliance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 80079-34 for the design, production, verification and testing of its products.

OBJECTIVES

Regulatory Compliance and Safety of ATEX Products

  • Ensure that all design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and technical documentation activities comply with the essential safety requirements of the applicable technical standards, with particular reference to ATEX directives.
  • Ensure full implementation of the specific requirements of ISO/IEC 80079-34, including change control, traceability, supplier management and process control

Customer Satisfaction

  • Understand and meet customer needs by providing safe, compliant and reliable products.
  • Respond promptly to requests and manage complaints and non-conformities effectively, promoting corrective and preventive actions.

Personnel Competence and Responsibility

  • Ensure that all personnel involved in the product life cycle (ATEX and NON-ATEX) have the necessary knowledge, skills and qualifications.
  • Continuously promote training, awareness and personnel involvement in maintaining the PCS.
  • All personnel must be updated on non-conformities and implemented corrections.

Supplier and Critical Component Management

  • Evaluate and monitor suppliers based on their ability to ensure compliant components, particularly those relevant to ATEX safety.
  • Where necessary, require specific certifications, declarations of conformity and appropriate documentary controls related to the classification of supplied products.

Continuous Improvement of the PCS

  • Monitor and analyze process indicators, audit results, customer feedback and non-conformities in order to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that the PCS is constantly adequate to the complexity of company products and processes.

Risk Prevention and Control of ATEX Processes

  • Identify, assess and control risks associated with ATEX design and production processes, ensuring stability, repeatability and traceability of activities.
  • Manage and document technical changes in a controlled manner, ensuring that they do not compromise product safety

COMMUNICATION AND REVIEW

This Policy:

  • is communicated to all personnel;

  • is made available to relevant interested parties (ref. document D-02-r.00 Risk Analysis, section 2.3);

  • is reviewed annually by Management to ensure its continued suitability, consistency and effectiveness, and its effective support to the Company’s strategic objectives.
