- EASY INSTALLATION SCTwyce•GT can be easily installed on existing blown film extrusion lines, replacing the old calibration basket.
- INTERCHANGEABLE GUIDES The rollers are installed on interchangeable guides, allowing rollers with different coatings to be installed and adapted to the product being processed.
- ROLLERS SCTwyce•GT is available with different types of coatings for the guide rollers. They are available in silicone, carbon fibre, optionally covered with wool sleeves, non-stick coatings and FDA approved.
- LEVELS AND GEOMETRY SCTwyce•GT can be fitted with 2 to 3 rollers for each arm, depending on customer needs.
- IBC INTEGRATION SCTwyce•GT is designed for integration with a SYIBC sensor. When supplied with a SYIBC sensor, the calibration basket is equipped with a bracket for the ultrasonic sensor and is designed for plug-and-play wiring.
- OPTIONS SCTwyce•GT is available in a configuration with Zyroblock, the additional bubble cooling system that effectively reduces the film temperature by up to 15 °C if compared to the case without Zyroblock. The system also ensures uniform cooling around the bubble because the air flows are not directed directly against the bubble, but envelop it entirely during its ascent. In addition, all bubble cages can have an open/closed control box, flat display, positioning system, sensor brackets and open/ closed control cards.

SCTwyce is SYNCRO’s range of secondary calibration baskets, engineered to perform with constant precision and stability. SCTwyce series of cages range from 670 mm to 12500 mm lay flat and offer an innovative design with a rigid construction and accurate control of the cage position throughout the operational range.
The secondary calibration basket is one of the most important parts of the Blown film process which influences both film quality and profile tolerance. SCTwyce keeps the bubble centred and calibrated, along its vertical path, before the film enters the pulling unit.
