This year, as a symbolic but deeply meaningful gesture, we have chosen to adopt a biomonitoring beehive in collaboration with our scientific partner, 3Bee. This initiative aims to support an ambitious project dedicated to the study and research of bees, pollinators, and biodiversity.
What does the project involve?
The technological beehive adopted by Syncro Group is equipped with 3Bee Hive-Tech technology, allowing us to closely observe the health of 300,000 bees and monitor environmental parameters that are crucial for analyzing the surrounding biodiversity. Bees, after all, are essential bioindicators of environmental health and invaluable guardians of biodiversity.
Why is it so important to protect bees and other pollinators?
Pollinators—including bees, bumblebees, hoverflies, and butterflies—are vital for the health of ecosystems. Through their critical role in pollination, which involves about 90% of wild flowering plants, these species contribute to ecosystem stability and biodiversity conservation.
This initiative is the first step in Syncro Group’s journey to protect biodiversity, as part of our Zero Waste Myssion.
