THE BEGINNING

SYNCRO Srl was established in April 2007 from an idea of both Gabriele Caccia and Raffaele Grotti, they founded a company to manufacture machinery and auxiliary equipment for extrusion lines with the purpose of sYnchronizing the process.

CORE BUSINESS

One of the first products developed by Syncro was the gravimetric dosing unit with the range of blenders called SYBATCH, these units engineered and manufactured in house not only started the Syncro journey but became synonymous with the Syncro name.

DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES

Syncro expand its market shares by investing in research and development of new technologies and launched new products such as their automatic air rings and gauging systems for blown film lines.

GROWING THE FAMILY

The first branch office was opened in the United States, a strong and growing market, led by Carl Gillig, SYNCRO USA was born

TROUGH EUROPE AND BEYOND

2011 was a seminal year for Syncro with a number of branch offices opened all over the globe in core plastics markets – China – Japan – India – Asia – Brazil.

CST IS BORN

The Syncro Group expanded with the creation of CST, a company formed to extend the Group’s product portfolio in to dosing units for Powders and Liquids.

CST EXPANDS ITS RANGE INTO COMPLEX MATERIAL DOSING

CST expands its range of products with dosing unit systems for complex materials such as powders, liquids and flakes, allowing it to approach new markets such as compounding, food and the chemical sector.

THE RECYCLING ERA

With the CIRCULAR ECONOMY becoming ever more important and sensing the ever growing importance of plastics recycling, PLASMAC became part of the Syncro family. Established in 1994 in the UK, Plasmac was a key player in the inline recycling of post-industrial plastics waste, manufacturing their range of Alpha machines plus the Omega for offline recycling.

MADE IN ITALY

A new era for Plasmac, in 2018 the first Alpha and Omega machines were made in Italy and Plasmac’s manufacturing base was relocated from the UK to Busto Arsizio and Plasmac Srl is born.

SYNCRO GROUP COMPLETES ITS PRODUCT RANGE WITH THE LAUNCH OF PLANTECH-CST

2018 saw another major milestone for the Syncro Group with the launch of PLANTECH-CST. Based in Modena, Italy, PLANTECH was acquired by Syncro and PLANTECH-CST was born, harnessing the expertise of both companies, PLANTECH-CST specialises in material storage and handling solutions for powders, granules and liquids for the plastics, chemicals and food industries and offers its customers turnkey solutions for all their needs.

NEW PARTNERS

The EREMA Group, the worldwide leader in the plastics recycling market acquires a 60% stake in Plasmac Srl and agrees a global synergy with the Syncro Group. An incredibly successful K2019 see’s Plasmac Srl, member of the EREMA Group launched to the market and ushers in a new era of growth for the company.

SYNCRO GROUP INVESTS IN ACELABS

January 2022, after two years of intense partnerships and joint technological developments, Syncro Group invest in AceLabs
Syncro Group is now able to offer its customers a complete package of quality control solutions to achieve the highest standards of process automation.
AceLabs designs and manufactures automated systems and quality control solutions, based on machine vision technology.

ARRIVES EUR.EX.MA

September 2022, Syncro Group continues its process of technological development and sustainability by investing in Eur.Ex.Ma.
Eur.Ex.Ma. has been developing since 1999, lab and pilot extrusion lines for laboratories and R&D departments of companies specialized in the production and processing of thermoplastic materials.

SBDRY JOINS THE SYNCRO FAMILY

December 2022 we see the year end with the entry into Syncro Group family of SBDRY, a venetian company with thirty years of experience.
