One plant worth three

On 4th & 5th July 2024,Rajoo Engineers Limited invited leading companies in the flexible packaging industry to participate in a two-day open house held in Rajkot, India.

Syncro was guest of Rajoo Engineers Limited, a leading manufacturer of technologically advanced plants for plastic extrusion, an undisputed player in the Indian and international market.

This event brought together industry leaders, creating a favorable environment for meaningful interactions and laying the foundations for collaborations in the Indian market, where we see Syncro India as a key player.

Syncro India meets and satisfies the needs of the blown film extrusion market through its wide product range, establishing itself as a reliable Partner.

These days were an opportunity for an intense discussion on future of flexible packaging trends: from sustainability issues to the evolution of high-performance blown film extrusion lines.

The eagerly awaited 5-layer blown film extrusion POD Line (PROEX) was finally presented, installed and running in the premises of a major global player: Balaji.

Syncro was the co-actor of this installation and performance achieved with:

Myblend3 series continuous loss-in-weight blenders;

Sylink, centralized conveying system;

Flyer3 series high-efficiency automatic counter-flow air ring;

Skymex series non-contact thickness measurement system;

– Internal Bubble Cooling (IBC) control for bubble inflation and internal cooling.

Syntrol Infinity, open vendor line supervisory system, which allows third parties to be

integrated

EasyEyes web inspection system with innovative embedded winder configuration, elegantly incorporated into the mezzanine structure.

The plant has been developed with extreme attention to detail in every component, with the aim to maximize ergonomics in usage and maintenance, keeping an eye to style and design beyond performance.

In particular POD COEX-5 to produce lamination film allowed, with an hourly output of 1000 kg/h with a thickness profile improvement of 75% which, compared to the unadjusted film original raw data, ends up as a remarkable result with a stable profile of 2  within ± 1 m.

This performance is possible only with Syncro Tech 2.0, a proudly a Syncro patent film, that ensures the best profile and allows thickness adjustment through the combination of volume and air heating.

Last but not least,Flyer3 has given the bubble the right stability to obtain a film with mechanical performance superior to the standard; this automatic and elevated air cooling ring was equipped with dual thickness control technology (temperature and flowPatented).

The partnership and synergy between both Syncro  and Rajoo automation teams made possible the control of the entire extrusion plant by using the Syntrol Infinity supervisor.

The last step, which restarts the entire production cycle from the beginning: Plasmac.

Alpha 35 is specifically designed to recycle trims produced during film extrusion up to 30 kg/h in-line.

The Alpha 35 receives in a perforated trim basket the trims that, without prior shredding, fall into the feeding mouth, separating them from the air used to suck them from the line’s winder.

The material is then compacted and melted by the extrusion screw (exclusive SST technology from Plasmac) with a short screw to produce high quality recycled pellets at low temperature and low energy consumption.

Syncro played a key role in the success of the event, presenting its complete range of products dedicated to the extrusion process. The active participation of the entire Syncro team not only enriched the event program, but also showed the value and innovation of the solutions offered by the company, further strengthening the partnership with Rajoo Engineers Limited and opening up new opportunities in the global market.

Syncro is honored for being chosen for this project, which was a great challenge, and thanks Rajoo and Balajii for this opportunity.
