Plasmac recently ran trials on printed LDPE film which has been “De-Inked” I.e. the printing on the film has been removed.
This novel process potentially opens a host of processes to incorporate recycled product free of ink, such materials can be used as a component in clear films, or even used up to 100% depending on the final product applications and film characteristics needed.
Plasmac is committed to providing equipment which allows its customers to meet the demands of the circular economy, the Omega range of machines are incredibly energy efficient, have minimal water consumption and an excellent power to output ratio, by recycling a de-inked product and providing a recycled pellet with qualities similar to a virgin material, the aims of the circular economy are easily within reach for their customers.
